Belmont Road was Evolve's first co-living project. It was originally a 3-bedroom family home in Bristol.
Due to its vast size and desirable location for young professionals, it was clear that it had great potential to be a co-living house.
The financials looked strong for a 5-bedroom co-living house, without any extension. But considering the original property already had ample room to exceed amenity space standards required for a 6-bedroom, we maximised potential returns through a dormer loft conversion to add an extra bedroom.
The property is now a spacious 6-bedroom co-living house, each with their own ensuite.
The development was strategically arranged so that all work was completed under permitted development rights, saving time on any planning applications.
A blend of traditional and contemporary design with industrial features characterise the property. All interior design was in collaboration with Anna from Bly Design, and architectural support was provided by Josh Davies, of Davies Architecture. The total refurbishment took approximately 5 months.
